From Arleen and Mel Beech

Testimonials
Within a little more than two weeks after first meeting Mel & Arleen we had signed a contract to purchase a wonderful home. In that period, we had looked at some 15 homes, and we saw several homes the same afternoon we met with them. I could not have been more pleased with their skill, diligence, knowledge and style. I frequently find that persons in the sales field often have two speeds, "on and off". I also find high pressure tactics unhelpful and offensive. Mel and Arleen were wholly devoid os such characteristics. They were helpful and informative, and unobtrusive when we needed time and privacy to view a prospect or discuss some issue. They did not pretend that every home we were looking at was just perfec,t" and allowed us to form our own conclusions. They listened very carefully to what we wanted and acted on that information."

To whom it may concern:
Having sold 3 home and purchased 4 over my lifetime, I’ve had numerous experiences with Real Estate Agents. Some were good, and of course, some not so good. To put it mildly, I can say that they are not some of my “favorite” people, with the exception of one, and that would be Mel Beech. Mel came highly recommended to me when I decided to purchase my last home. An agent, though, is only as good as he or she is for you, but in my experience, Mel Beech was one of the greats. I found Mel to be highly attentive, almost making you feel as though you are his only client. If I needed him for any reason, I was able to reach him, and if he wasn’t immediately available, it wasn’t long before he returned my call. I found the qualities that Mel possesses as a Real Estate Broker were fundamentally the most important ones that I was looking for. He possesses an enormous amount of knowledge and integrity and was always honest with me, whether or not it was something I wanted to hear. I ultimately purchased a Million Dollar Plus home and was thrilled to have Mel by my side. Every step of the negotiations were handled professionally by him, and he supported me throughout the process. He was there from the initial bid through the closing and handled every minute detail in between. I found him to have an enormous amount of experience and expertise and the process went as smoothly as I could have wanted. Above all, the one quality he possesses that became the most important, even above his exceptional professionalism, was that he was a just a nice, nice guy, who really knows his stuff!

Dear Mel,
I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you did for my family when we went to sell my mother’s house. I thought it was going to take a very long time to sell since the house was almost 60 years old and nothing had been updated. But you put your mind to it and had several offers in the 10 days after you putting it on the market. You cleaned up things that needed to be done before showing the house by moving them out of the living room and storing them in closets and drawers.
It took very little time for you to find a buyer and negotiate a very satisfactory settlement. In fact, the house went on the market around October 1, 2014, and we closed in early December, 2014. You even helped to find a real estate attorney who made the whole process painless and profitable. I was amazed and delighted at how well everything went, and I give most of the credit to you for making it happen.
My best wishes to you for continued success and many more happy, satisfied clients.
Sincerely,
Susan Forman, Columbia Law School Professor

Are You Thinking About Buying a Home?
The process of buying a home can be overwhelming at times, but you don’t need to go through it alone.
Here is a look at what a few industry experts have to say:
Lawrence Yun, Chief Economist at National Association of Realtors
“Imbalance persists for mid-to-lower priced homes with solid demand and insufficient supply, which is consequently pushing up home prices.”
Mark Fleming, Chief Economist of First American
“Market conditions are ripe for increasing home sales with one glaring exception. The supply of homes for sale remains tight, keeping existing home sales below potential.”
Danielle Hale, Chief Economist of Realtor.com
We’re not seeing as many new listings come up on the market…It was only 18 months ago that the number of homes for sale hit its lowest level in recorded history and sparked the fiercest competition among buyers we’ve ever seen.
Bottom Line
If you’re thinking of selling, now may be the time. Demand for your house will be strong during a period when there is very little competition, ideally leading to a quick sale and a great return on your investment.

5 TIPS FOR STARTING YOUR HOME SEARCH
The information itself is no longer what people come to us to receive. They now come to us to receive an analysis of that information. And that's a big change. Powerful words. What it is saying is that information by itself is essentially useless. What is truly important is being able to understand, analyze, and use the information for the best outcome. And that is what our job as real estate professionals has become.
